I almost shit myself this morning.

This morning I had to catch a 5:28 a.m. train to work. I went to bed at a decent hour and got a good amount of sleep but when you wake up that early, you are always tired. Am I right? Yes I am. Anyways, I caught my train and paid for my ride. After doing so I set the alarm on my phone for when I assumed we would be coming up on my stop. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. About 45 minutes later when my alarm went off. I realized we were still about 20 minutes out. I assumed I set my alarm wrong and went back to sleep. Since my stop is the last stop I assumed that someone would wake me up. A conductor, a passenger, SOMEONE. To my surprise , I woke up an additional 45 minutes later. I was already late for work and I hadn’t even gotten off of the train yet. I looked around, there was no one. I was immediately alarmed and jumped out of my seat. The train was stationed at the last stop but there was no one on the train! I ran from car to car screaming , “Help! The doors are locked I can’t get out!”. I spent a good 10 minutes panicking. If you know me, you know I usually do not panic. This was so bad that I was jumping to conclusions like, “What if no one ever finds me?” Which was ridiculous but at the time I was scared! So I ran to where I normally exit the train and started pounding on the locked door, trying to pry it open and screaming for help. Unfortunately no one heard me and no one came. After another few minutes of me doing this and sweating because I am so scared I realize that there is an emergency lever below me. I stared at it for about 20 seconds and pulled it. The door flew open and when I stepped outside. A whole bunch of conductors were about 20 feet away engaged in their own conversation. Apparently they didn’t see me freaking out inside of the train. I felt like I was in a movie, and ran out of the train station, because quite frankly, I was late as fuck for work.

WHY IS MY LIFE NOT A TV SHOW!? UGH FUCK WORKING!
